Rove Motorhomes Gunthorpe is delighted to offer this fantastic Chausson Welcome 625. An extremely practical and well-built motorhome which sits on a 2.3ltr Diesel manual 6 speed engine drivetrain. The vehicle has an overall length of 6.66m and an overall width of 2.3m. With it having a gross vehicle weight of 3650 you will require a C1 license to drive this motorhome legally on the roads.
At the very rear of this motorhome, you will find a rear fixed French bed which sits next to a room which has been designed and fitted solely for the use of your cassette toilet and vanity basin unit. This way you can have a room which provides plenty of space which can be used as a private area to get ready for your day ahead. Both above and below the French bed you will find endless amounts of storage. The storage below the bed is also accessible from the outside making life much easier when accessing equipment primarily used on the outside of your motorhome.
In the centre you have a wonderful well equipped kitchen space which is on your passenger side of the motorhome and a fully separate and dedicated room for your shower cubicle allowing Chausson to offer you a much larger shower than usual. The shower room door also has a secondary partition which allows you to close off the motorhome front to back to create two separate spaces.
In the front you have a brilliant lounge space which can comfortably seat 5 adults at any given time with the help of the captain’s swivel seats located in the cab of the motorhome. When the evening hours draw in, who want to get up and make a bed. No not us either. With the Chausson 625 you wimple have to stand back, click a button and watch as your fully prepared and made bed lowers from the ceiling ready to use.
Overall, a really well-equipped motorhome which make life on holiday all the more fun by taking away a lot of the compromises you find in your usual layouts and motorhomes. We visited the Selston site first to view a camper van we had seen on line and although the van didn’t meet out needs the staff couldn’t of been more helpful. We sat down with Charlie and put together a profile of the van we were looking for, including our budget. We went away hopeful that we would be found a van before long. Charlie kept us informed of the new stock coming in by email and a weekly phone call and although Charlie had moved to the Gunthorpe site he found us the perfect van. Since our initial visit we have met members of the wider team at Gunthorpe (Sam, Charlotte, Guy and a few of the men from the workshop) and everyone has been amazing and so helpful, including providing copious amounts of coffee. It will be a couple of weeks before we collect ‘Doris’ and start our travels but It’s 5 stars from us.

What a fantastic company the staff so friendly & informative the whole process was fantastic. We originally dealt with Jamie but he transferred to another branch but left us in the capable hands of Guy & Charlie. We collected our motorhome on Friday but Gut sent a video handover on Thursday which is brilliant because although he went through everything on collection I am sure we will forget something when we set up on site. I would like to thank Jamie, Guy, Charlie, Charlotte & not forgetting the preparation staff for all their help in our purchase
