The Westfalia Nugget is a compact yet cleverly designed campervan that blends everyday drivability with genuine touring capability. Built on the reliable Ford Transit Custom platform and professionally converted by renowned German camper specialists Westfalia, the Nugget offers a practical and comfortable “home on wheels” ideal for weekend escapes, road trips, and longer adventures.

Designed to sleep up to four people, the Nugget features a smart pop-top roof with an upper double bed, while the rear seating area converts into a second spacious double bed below. The standout L-shaped interior layout separates the living, cooking, and sleeping areas more effectively than many traditional campervans, creating a surprisingly open and usable space.

Inside, the camper includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a two-burner gas hob, stainless steel sink, fridge, storage cupboards, and onboard water tanks. Swivelling front seats and a fold-away dining table create a sociable lounge area perfect for relaxing after a day on the road.

Power comes from Ford’s dependable 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine and a a six-speed manual gearbox. The Nugget drives more like a family van than a large motorhome, making it easy to manoeuvre in cities, campsites, and country roads alike.

Additional features commonly found on 2021 models include:

  • Pop-top roof with insulated canvas sides
  • Seating for up to five passengers
  • Swivelling captain’s chairs
  • LED interior lighting
  • Diesel heater for year-round camping
  • USB charging points and 230V hook-up
  • Ford SYNC infotainment with navigation and Bluetooth
  • Built-in dining table and extensive storage

With its combination of practicality, quality engineering, and everyday usability, the 2021 Westfalia Nugget remains one of the most versatile and desirable compact campervans on the market — equally suited to daily driving as it is to off-grid adventures.

Guy was enormously helpful and took the time to show us around several motorhomes that met our spec - great experience, and a good dealer to know.

I'd like to thank Charlie, Guy, Sam and team for the outstanding service and attention to detail they afforded us they are all a credit to the company 'Rove' and the industry. From the original advert pictures and walk around narrated video, to the demonstration at viewing, we have been very well treated and looked after. The preparation both mechanically and cosmetically was superb , The handover by Charlie was comprehensive and professional and done in a very friendly manor with patience and understanding. Nothing has been too much trouble and they have remained enthusiastic throughout the viewing and buying process. We are thrilled with our motorhome its a little cracker and look foreward to many happy travels and holidays in it. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely buy from them again. We were looking for an A class motorhome and from the first contact Charlie and Guy were very responsive and helpful. They went the extra mile to source historic information about the vehicle and the particular vehicle we viewed was presented very well. We also had a look at 3 other vehicles while we were at Rove and that helped us to understand the layout we would prefer. Compared to the first company we visited Rove were much better. We will have a good look around now as these are expensive vehicles.

Really helpful family run company. We travelled from Scotland to purchase a motor home. They had everything ready when we arrived and were clear with the information they shared. The motorhome was exactly as they had described it and we are very pleased that we took the trouble to travel to buy from Rove. We were even given a lift back to our hotel which was a lovely touch. Aftersales have been excellent too. We’ve been called to check all is ok and been offered/sent a video to ensure we winterise properly. We’d definitely recommend Rove Motorhomes to anyone thinking of buying.
